Review by Leah Eschen (age 9)
Anne Frank, a Jewish girl, was born in 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. In 1953 she moved to Holland with her parents and older sister because Adolf Hitler, who ruled over Germany, did not like Jews and killed them for no good reason. Eventually, in 1942 the Frank family went into hiding because Hitler was now in control of Holland. In 1944 their hiding place was found, and the Frank family was arrested and sent to different concentration camps. While they were there, Anne Frank, her mother, and her sister died. I liked the book because it was exciting, interesting, and easy to read.
